Senior Business Support Manager – Total Facilities Management (TFM)

We are looking for a proactive and organised Senior Business Support Manager to join our Total Facilities Management (TFM) team. This role plays a key part in supporting operational delivery by ensuring effective compliance processes, strong team leadership, and continuous improvement across the service.

The Role

You will lead the delivery of business support functions that enable the TFM team to meet contractual, compliance, and performance objectives. Working closely with operational managers and key stakeholders, you will help drive service improvement and maintain high standards across the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage business support functions to ensure efficient service delivery to the wider TFM team.
  • Oversee compliance across Environmental, Quality, and Health & Safety requirements, including the management of Integrated Management System (IMS) processes and internal audits.
  • Identify and deliver service improvement initiatives and lead process improvement or innovation workshops.
  • Work with stakeholders to support a culture of continuous improvement and ongoing service development.
  • Provide effective leadership to the team, managing performance, development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure staff operate in line with organisational policies and procedures, including HR and health and safety requirements.
  • Lead recruitment within the team and support wider recruitment activity where required.
  • Ensure appropriate training and development activities are completed and recorded.
  • Provide occasional deputising support for senior management and support wider TFM capacity during busy periods.

About You

You will have experience managing teams in a complex operational environment and be confident working with compliance frameworks, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
