Refuse Loader Operative required in Rochford

£25,854.40 a year

40 Hours per week 

Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm

 

Rochford Norse is a new long-term partnership with Rochford District Council. The joint venture partnership will provide  services across the local area. Our main aim is to provide quality, efficient, and reliable services tailored to suit our client’s needs. We are currently seeking Refuse Loader Operatives to assist in Rochford and the surrounding areas (Rochford / Rayleigh / Southend / Basildon).

 

The role

Your role will be to support all aspects of waste collection and management, providing loading and disposal support where required. 

Some of the duties you may be required to fulfil are as follows:

  • Handling containers (mainly wheeled bins/plastic sacks and boxes) and loading refuse into the collection vehicle. 

  • Operating the bin-lift mechanism.

  • Reporting accidents and incidents as required.

  • Any other related duties as required in assisting with the provision of the service.

  • Assisting the driver when manoeuvring and reversing the vehicle

Our successful candidate

Previous experience working within a waste collection and/or disposal environment would be an advantage, however we are happy to provide training and support to the right individual.
