42 hours per week
Amber Valley Norse, a newly formed joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Amber Valley Borough Council. The joint venture company will be providing a domestic and trade refuse collections across Derbyshire.
One of our key services is waste management, and we are currently looking to recruit a refuse driver loader to work with our team in the local area. This position is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 42hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your role will be working alongside the waste collection team, driving our vehicles between domestic and trade customers and supporting with loading at sites and emptying the freighter at the depot. Our teams provide a valuable service within the area and maintaining our high level of customer care will be a key part of the role.
Your Experience;
Ideally you will have previous experience within in a waste management environment, but we are happy to provide support and training if you can demonstrate;
* Full UK Driving Licence with Class C Entitlement
* Current Driver Qualification Card (CPC), with a Digital Tachograph Card
* Experience driving Class C LGV's
* Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
* Great communication skills
* Capable of delivering a high level of customer service
