Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS) is the division of Norse Commercial Services responsible for pioneering and managing sustainable ways to process both commercial and residential waste.

One of our key services is waste management, and we are currently looking to recruit a LGV driver to work with our team in the local area. This position is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

You will be working alongside the waste collection team, driving our vehicles between domestic and trade customers, supporting with exchanging demountable skips at sites and emptying the skip at the disposal points. Our teams provide a valuable service within the area and maintaining our high level of customer care will be a key part of the role. 

Your Experience;  

Ideally you will have previous experience within in a waste management environment, but we are happy to provide support and training if you can demonstrate. 

• Full UK Driving Licence with Class C Entitlement 
• Current Driver Qualification Card (CPC), with a Digital Tachograph Card 
• Experience driving Class C LGV's 
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. 
• Great communication skills and high level of customer service
• Hook Loader module of the CPC qualification
