- Salary: £27,074.21
- Location: Norse Group Head Office (Unity Place), Norwich, NR6 6EQ
- Hours per week: 40
Norse Group are a lead facilities management services provider built on a foundation of joint ventures with Local Government partners. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Works Coordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Norwich on a permanent basis.
The Role:
The role of the Works Coordinator is to provide administrative, planning and support services.
* Responding to work requests relating to Norse Care, allocating work to the internal maintenance providers, external contractors, or other Norse teams in a timely manner.
* Raising purchase orders for external contractors, receipting of completed works and approval of related invoices.
* Monitoring work requests to ensure satisfactory conclusion and ensuring system information is accurate and current.
* Supporting the Facilities Manager in the scheduling of reactive & PPM work for the sub-contractors, ensuring work is effectively allocated according to their skills and the business requirements.
* Providing administrative support in the processing the provision of the required financial information to colleagues for client invoicing.
* Uploading the statutory compliance reports to the CAFM system and escalation to Facilities Manager of any follow-on remedial requirements.
* Assisting with the management of the contractors.
* Managing the tracking of client projects, to include timely project updates to client.
* Assisting the Facilities Manager & Assistant Facilities Manager with the prioritisation of work across the Norse Care portfolio.
Our Successful candidate
It is essential that our successful candidate has excellent communication skills both verbal and written as your daily tasks will include; answering incoming calls, queries and emails from clients, providers and suppliers and responding appropriately.
We are also looking for someone with previous administration experience within a busy office environment along with the following:
- Experience of working in a customer facing role
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and information databases
- Capable of multi-tasking and working to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
