Our central Marketing and Communications Team play a vital role in all internal and external communications, delivering multiple services to support core projects and promote the Norse Group as a national brand.

As we look to develop an already experienced and established team, we are recruiting a Communications Executive on a fixed term basis.

The role

The Communications Executive is responsible for supporting the Corporate Communications team in the delivery of the Norse Group Communications Strategy. The role focuses on creating and delivering clear, engaging, and consistent internal and external communications that strengthen understanding of the Group’s activities, enhance engagement, and promote our values. This position will work closely with colleagues across the Group, ensuring communications are timely, effective, and aligned to organisational objectives.

This role will be responsible for leading on all internal communications whilst supporting the wider team with external communication activities through;

  • Building strong, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders acting as a point of contact for any communication requests or activities
  • Developing innovative campaigns to improve employee engagement on our internal communication platforms working closely with graphic design colleagues
  • Providing expert support and advice around effective communications to ensure they are heard and understood by all internal audiences
  • Supporting with the development of operational communication tools and process to ensure updates and messages are shared throughout the organisation appropriately, including demonstrating this through accurate reporting measures

Our Successful Candidate:

We are ideally looking for someone able to make an instant impact within the business, confidently engaging with all areas of the Group, we will also be looking for you to demonstrate;

  • Relevant qualification, degree or equivalent, in English or any Marketing and Communications related subject
  • Proven experience in a similar marketing or communication environment
  • Knowledge of content management systems for intranet and website management
  • Experience in utilising social media channels for professional communication purposes
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce clear, concise and interesting communications
  • Articulate communication skills, capable of delivering information through a number of different platforms.
