Norse Group have a fantastic opportunity for a **Systems Analyst **to join our Finance Team, this will be on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The role as Systems Analyst is critical in ensuring the effective administration, support and development of core systems across the Group.
Working closely with the Group IT Team, Business Process Owners, Operational Managers and external system support partners to ensure issues are resolved promptly, identifying the root cause to reduce reoccurrence
Main responsibilities
- System expert with robust understanding of how business processes are being delivered within the system to offer an effective support service.
- Proactively looking to identify recurring issues to understand whether these indicate a system issue or a potential training requirement.
- Day to day ownership of the support requests queue, ensuring prompt management, clear communication and efficient resolution where possible.
- Timely escalation and ongoing management of requests to internal or external support staff as required.
- Developing core system reporting, working alongside business process owners.
- Creation and maintenance of training documentation alongside business process owners.
- Supporting and co-ordinating system testing around upgrades and developments.
- Assisting in the delivery of system training.
- Gaining a full understanding of the Group Business Intelligence platform.
