Sexton Supervisor - East Hampshire Norse
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
£40,980.81 per annum
The role
East Hampshire Norse are currently seeking a Sexton Supervisor to assist in managing the day-to-day operations associated with cemeteries, static teams and public toilets as well as grounds maintenance operations.
Role and responsibilities
- To promote a good company image at all times, and develop good relations with customers, contractors, regulators and other officials of statutory bodies.
- To comply with Company policies, arrangements and schedules, as produced from time to time to ensure compliance with statutory and legal obligations.
- Conduct regular inspections to promote and support a culture of safety awareness and safe working. Ensure that all collection personnel fully comply with safety practices and procedures. Strive to minimise the risk of accidents. Ensure that accidents are reported, investigated fully and that any resulting recommendations are implemented.
- Ensure that the policies of both the Company and client are fully complied with and that the requirements of relevant legislation are met.
- Supervise the operation to ensure that contractual requirements are monitored and targets are delivered. Ensure that potential problems are identified and resolved at an early stage and escalated where appropriate.
Your experience
It is essential that you hold a Sexton certification/training, we also seek individuals with:
- IT experience using MS Office and other computer systems.
- Good overall knowledge of streets and grounds environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence
