Recycling Advisor - Dereham Recycling Centre 

35 Hours per week 

£11.44 Per hour

 

Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS) are the waste and refuse management function for Norse Group, providing a full collection service across the local region.

As we continue to deliver our frontline waste and recycling services across East Anglia, we are looking to recruit a Recycling Advisor for our centre in Dereham, Norfolk.

 This position is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 35 hours per week, Thursday - Monday.

 In this role you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the day to day operations of the centre runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a public facing role where you will be engaging with members of the public whilst delivering services where you will be helping advise on disposure of waste and ensuring the site is always safe and tidy.

Our ideal candidate

Whilst previous experience in a similar waste collection or disposal role would be ideal, we are happy to offer full training to the right person, as long as you can demonstrate;

  • Previous experience working in fast paced environment
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Own transport and Full UK driving licence required - travel to various sites across Norfolk
