Multi-Skilled Plasterer

Alliance Norse ae currently recruiting for a Plasterer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

The role;

• Carrying out full and minor plastering duties including Artex and coving.
• Undertaking plastering works to a high standard and completing appropriate tasks as allocated by the supervisor or scheduling team or line manager.
• Undertaking other trades duties such as tiling and damp membrane works where necessary.
• Working as part of the On Call Team covering high priority work outside of normal working hours in line with the ‘out of hours’ rota.
• Liaising with the scheduling team on the completion of the work including, where appropriate, the planning of work to ensure the most effective use of time and resources.
• Liaising with the scheduler / supervisors to ensure that they are made aware of the progress of work including abortive call, extra works and where works may extend past the target date.
• Engaging with the effective operational team, focused on achievement of service plans and departmental priorities, providing guidance in your area of professional specialism.
• Providing instruction and supervision to apprentices and trainees where appropriate.
• Maintaining confidentiality when processing personal/customer data.

Our successful candidate; 

• Experience of operating a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) handheld device or similar
• Extensive plastering experience in a similar environment
• Trade qualification (NVQ/C&G) in Plastering or equivalent
