Norse Catering work in partnership with a number of care to deliver meal services throughout the day, utilising local and fresh produce. Norse deliver an exceptional customer service whilst ensuring nutrition and variety for their clients.

 

Norse Catering are currently recruiting for a Mobile Cook Manager to join our Team delivering exceptional service to our residential Care Homes.

 

This is a Mobile role where you will provide flexible cover to Care Homes across Norfolk for 40 hours per week, 0730-1900, which will include some weekends and evenings. Mileage and travel time are paid.

 

Your Responsibilities

As Mobile Cook Manager you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating catering processes including overseeing; hygiene, health & safety, employees, cleaning and waste control alongside;

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the highest standard
  • Deputise in the absence of the Cook Manager
  • Contribute to high levels of customer service
  • Comply and have full knowledge of regulations regarding Health & Safety, ensuring that best food practices and hygiene procedures are adhered to.

Your Experience

You will have previous experience within a customer focussed role within a catering environment delivering an excellent service whilst also demonstrating;

  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Proven record in managing a team
  • Ability to make quick decisions and respond to changes in requirements at short notice to ensure client speciation’s are met
  • Great communication skills
  • Hold a full driving licence due to travel requirements of the role
