Lead Care Coordinator – Swallowtail Place, Acle

£32,971.58 Per Annum

37 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours

Swallowtail Place is an independent living scheme in Acle, where we provide care and support to tenants who live in their own self-contained apartments under a tenancy agreement with Saffron Housing Trust. 

A day in the life:

The Care Coordinator will have a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the successful setting up and running of the extra care service in line with Norse Care policies and procedures. It is also expected that Swallowtail Place will be the hub to develop and offer as a later development in the medium term Norse Care’s domiciliary care business in the local area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning client visits and care provision efficiently to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. The role will also need to plan and  ensure staff rotas are effective and staffed appropriately. Alongside this, the post will support the manager to ensure that care related documentation is up to date and accurate in line with Norse Care’s policies and procedures using dedicated software systems.

The Care Coordinator will assist the Registered Manager to ensure compliance with standards of quality and safety in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulation 2014 and maintaining CQC compliance, alongside assisting with the implementing Norse Care’s vision and strategies, including the dementia and quality strategies.
