40 Hours per week

 

Norse Highways are looking to recruit an experienced Highways Manager to their talented team, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has lead a team within the Highways industry before.

 

As Highways Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver Highways Works, including: Achieving targets for profitability, utilisation of resource, ensuring teams are compliant with H&S and legislative requirements.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

-         Managing all resources including employee resource effectively and efficiently to ensure good practice and best value to ensure business performance targets are achieved.

-         Ensuring work is allocated within the area team and assist in planning future works programmes to enable effective and efficient programming of all available works.

-         Deputising for the Local Operations Manager (OM) in their absence.

 

Job Requirements:

 

-         It is essential that you can demonstrate experience and knowledge of the Highways Industry with management experience of gangs.

-         Knowledge of plant, equipment, materials, highway maintenance practices and specifications

-         Well organised and able to work on own initiative and able to prioritise workload effectively.
