Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor - Norwich
£35,333.24
37 hours per week
Norse Groups SHEQ Department have a fantastic opportunity for an Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our Environmental, Quality, Health & Safety Team on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.
The role;
As the Health & Safety Advisor, You will be responsible for ensuring that the Group remains compliant to all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation by actively aiding implementation and monitoring its Integrated Management Systems (IMS). Alongside this your main day to day duties will include;
- Monitoring, updating and development of the environmental Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Collecting, assessing and analysing environmental performance data from the Group.
- Assist with preparation of ISO certification audits.
- Investigating accidents and incidents involving environmental matters.
- Carry out and assist with toolbox talks and conduct presentations to the team and wider group when required.
- Identity risks & hazards and support managers with a solution to resolve.
Our Successful Candidate:
You will need to demonstrate proven experience within a similar role in the industry alongside;
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management (or equivalent).
- Associate Membership of IEMA (AIEMA), working towards (or willing to work towards) Practitioner Membership.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice governing environmental legislation.
- Capable of assisting with or undertaking environmental audits.
- Confident delivering training and presentations to a varied audience.
- Previous experience carrying out accident investigations.
- Full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role.
