£36,495 - £39,958 DoE

Our Norse Group TFM Division are a lead Facilities Management services provider across Norfolk, specialising in a range of Soft and Hard TFM services on behalf of Norfolk County Council. We have a fantastic career opportunity for experienced FM Manager to join our established team based at County Hall in Norwich on a full-time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week.

As a Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the management of statutory compliance, planned preventative maintenance and reactive works for our Norfolk Fire and Rescue portfolio, which we service on behalf of Norfolk County Council. You will be required to provide a comprehensive and efficient service to ensure all works are managed to within an appropriate timeframe, delivered to budget and agreed standards whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, company policies and client objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing statutory compliance, ensuring contractors are instructed and works are completed within required timelines and evidence of completion provided in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the asset register of own portfolio of premises to ensure the CAFM system reflects correct asset information in the required information fields.
  • Ensuring the CAFM system has all compliance evidence uploaded in a timely manner to meet client SLA requirements.
  • Managing the CAFM system accurately to ensure it reflects status of works, including closing promptly, holding accurate status and being correctly assigned
  • Continually monitoring work requests to ensure that any planned preventative and remedial maintenance is completed in line within required schedules.
  • Complying with the agreed NCC procurement process when quoting smaller project works, ensuring the client guidelines are always followed to ensure tendering without fear or favour.
  • Monitoring any non-SLA work to ensure it does not commence without client purchase orders or, in urgent situations, written evidence from the client that funding is agreed.
  • Working closely with the Finance Administrator, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and budget forecasting to maximise cashflow and revenue.
  • Ensuring that all works carried out by contractors are to the agreed specification and timelines, with any non-conformity highlighted in line with the agreed process.
  • Managing compliance with all relevant legislation whilst meeting company/client objectives and best practice, this may also include partaking in audits and compliance programs.

Our Successful Candidate:

  • Previous experience of delivering Facilities Management services
  • Experience of managing sub-contractors
  • Knowledge of statutory compliances, Health and Safety and associated legislation
  • Commercially aware, with financial and budgetary experience
  • Influential with strong stakeholder management experience
  • Full UK Drivers Licence to meet travel requirements
