NPS Property Consultants

Salary £38,000 per annum

37 Hours per week

 

Norse Consulting is a national, award-winning property consultancy delivering high profile commissions to a range of public and private sector clients across the UK.  Our multi-disciplined teams provide a number of property services to our clients, undertaking a wide range of projects including residential/commercial/educational of varying size and complexity, resulting in innovative, sustainable and commercially viable delivery.

 

The Estates Team includes experienced property professionals providing estates and asset management services to a range of clients and have been doing so for over 25 years.  We are a strategic partner to a number of Local Authorities delivered through our joint venture model and deliver services through a range of contract types, with the aim of understanding and delivering the needs of our clients.

 

The Estates Surveyor will be responsible for providing effective day to day property advice to clients, working within the various timescales and managing an individual caseload in accordance with initiatives and directives whilst maintaining outputs of appropriate quality and work in accordance with the Group’s values.

 

*         The day-to-day work is varied but the main accountabilities will include:

*         Undertaking a variety of RICS ‘Red Book’ valuations including asset valuations

*         Providing development appraisals, valuations and general advice for a variety of different purposes.

*         Negotiating the settlement of terms for the acquisition and disposal of property.

*         Preparing reports and briefings for clients, attending committees and working groups as necessary.

*         Undertaking group wide commissions, working throughout the country as and when required.

*         Ensuring that customer requirements are identified and agreed with the client.

*         Taking and granting leases, tenancies, licences, hiring ’s, easements, concessions and other legal or equitable interest.

*         Rent reviews, surrenders, assignments, sub lettings, improvement works, term compensation and dilapidations.

*         Identifying new business opportunities.

*         Complying with the Group ISO standards, delivering quality assured outputs.

*         Fee earning at 90% and contribute to the achievement of the Estates business plan objectives and targets.

*         Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade of the post.

 

Our Successful Candidate

 

*         It is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the following:

*         Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or actively seeking to achieve membership in the next 6 - 12 months

*         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.

*         Relevant direct experience

*         Full UK Driving Licence
