Compliance Manager – South West Norse
£45,000 per annum
We have an excellent internal opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join the South West Norse division based at Venture House in Exeter on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role:
You will be required to manage the contract compliance in-line with regulations and legislation for all areas of South West Norse. You will be responsible for ensuring best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and the most suitable working environment is attained for our employees and activities. You will be expected to apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various sites, interacting with external auditors on matters relating to Norse internal measures, policies and procedures, plus developing and maintaining system tools to ensure the business is compliant. Further duties will consist of:
- Leading on IMS/QMS/EMS implementation, audit and continuous management and improvement
- Creating a compliance strategy and action plan, prioritising and implementing mobilisation plan and then continuously monitor and improve
- Partaking in audits and compliance programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and driving change to meet company/client objectives and best practice
- Ensuring all relevant legislation, codes of practice and Norse policies are adhered to
Our Successful Candidate:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that can evidence proven experience as a Compliance Manager or within a relevant role. Alongside this, we expect you to display:
- Extensive experience of managing multi discipline teams
- Previous experience of delivering Facilities Management services
- Conversant with Health and Safety legislation
- Commercially aware with financial and budgetary experience
- Knowledge of statutory compliances and associated legislation
- Ability to motivate and lead others in order to reach both local and organisational goals
