Casual Cleaner – Exeter

South West Norse is recruiting for a Cleaner to join our commercial cleaning team at Great Moor House, Exeter. You will be responsible for maintaining the contractual hygiene standard on and around our sites.

You will be given training, relevant products and equipment to ensure you meet the cleaning standards, and you will be expected to store this securely on-site.

The Role

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

• Ability to work to defined standards in a quality driven environment
• Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public
• Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team
• Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service
