Car Park Officer
**Salary - **£23,549.76
Alliance Norse is a partnership between Norse Group and High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. The Joint Venture (JV) company was formed in 2022 to provide a number of services to the two Council’s, including their Estates & Asset Management functions.
An opportunity has arisen for a Car Park Officer to support the Estate and Asset Management in the delivery of the Car Parking services currently delivered.
The day-to-day work is varied, but the main responsibilities will include: -
- Supporting the operation of council owned car parks
- Managing and issuing parking permits
- Processing refunds
- Cost reconciliation
- Maintaining records and update information on relevant systems
- Customer service including complaint management
- Managing the car parks email accounts
- Working closely with all stakeholders including the council, the public, enforcement agencies and internal departments
- Complying with the Norse Group ISO standards, delivering quality assured outputs.
- Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the grade of the post
Our Successful Candidate
It is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent Grade A-C including Maths and English
- Experience in a similar role would be desirable
- Good numeracy and analytical skills
- Full driving licence
