Infinity provides a comprehensive range of services within the fields of asbestos, legionella, mechanical and electrical services, fire compliance services and facilities management nationwide. Our highly skilled, flexible team works closely with those within both the public and private sector, from tier one commercial operators through to local authorities.

 

We have an excellent opportunity available for Business Support Manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

Your main duties will consist of:

  • Supervise and manage the team, ensure all team deliverables are achieved consistent with schedules and to the appropriate level of quality and customer service.
  • Plan set out of labour to maximise utilisation and draw up plans and schedules for the team to meet weekly or bi-weekly schedules.
  • Ensure the workplace is safe, meets all statutory requirements and where appropriate ensure suitably qualified and experienced personnel are allocated to undertake tasks.
  • Update all relevant documentation for the team including daily progress registers, logbooks, accident books, quality documentation, training records, performance management information and a diary of disciplinary indiscretions/offences.
  • Ensure collection and collation of information related to the activities of the team, generate management information, and circulate as appropriate.
  • Provide technical advice to team members and encourage the team to identify inefficient processes, areas of improvement and new technologies.

 Our Successful Candidate:

 

We are looking for a talented individual that can demonstrate extensive previous Operations Management experience within a similar environment as well as an ambition to develop within a national organisation. We are looking for you to demonstrate:

  • A Strong communicator – able to influence, negotiate, and bring a positive, can-do approach
  • Adept with software and systems – confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and systems such as CAFM, job management and invoicing tools
  • Organised and efficient – skilled at managing time, priorities and deadlines independently
  • A good relationship builder – able to work with a wide range of internal teams and external partners
  • A creative problem solver – innovative and resourceful when tackling challenges
  • Detail-oriented – ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Full UK driving licence required, with travel to other sites
