Business Administrator - South West Norse
£28,579.20 per annum
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
South West Norse work in collaboration with Devon County Council, partnering with a number of public and private sector clients across the Southwest to deliver a portfolio of TFM commercial services.
We are currently looking to recruit Business Administrator to join our Exeter based team located at Venture House. You will be responsible to provide liaison and coordination of operations within South West Norse, particularly focusing on financial administrative tasks.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities
- Prepare reports from statistical and financial statements, draws management attention to areas of concern.
- Maintain ledgers, statements and account within established procedures and takes appropriate action to secure or make payments or resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare transactions on and between ledgers, statements and accounts.
- Resolve problems and communicate and deal with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and problems
- Troubleshoot problems and issues. Use knowledge and judgement to identify and follow appropriate courses of action to resolve.
Your experience:
We are looking for you to demonstrate proven Office/Helpdesk, administrative experience. In addition to this, you will be able to show:
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients and members of the public
- Previous experience processing invoices and orders would be desirable
- Capable of producing accurate documentation and reports
- Excellent Numerical skills
- Knowledge of construction or project management would be an advantage
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Attention to Detail
