Bid Manager
£50,030.75 per annum
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Manager to join our Support Services Team, working across our Property Consultancy Services and Hard FM businesses. You will lead the formal tendering process, collaborating with colleagues to develop the proposition and ensuring governance in line with Group policy.
You will lead, coach and manage Bid Writers and administrators to create and maintain a positive working environment that promotes development and continuous improvement. Duties will include:
- Working to set timeframes, ensuring that bids are submitted on time and to an outstanding quality.
- Researching and identifying market trends and pricing strategies to develop the company’s commercial position, liaising closely with Senior Management.
- Proactively discovering and managing all future contracts tenders and opportunities working towards the Groups’ commercial strategy.
- Working closely with Business Development Managers to produce sales proposals as appropriate.
- Analysing and reporting on bid performance to the Bid Director to aid continuous improvement.
Our Successful Candidate:
You will have extensive previous experience working within the Bid Writing sector alongside:
- Proven knowledge of management of bid processes, and bidding techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of service lines relevant to the role, including: Design, Surveying, Estate Management, Project Management, Building Compliance & Property Maintenance.
- Fantastic team management skills, including evidence of coaching, development and mentoring of bid professionals.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and to apply a flexible approach to prioritising a diverse workload.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

This position is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
